IN SCHOOL SERVICE
Public schools around the country are faced with improving academic achievement and ensuring that students are in a safe and secure learning environment. While staff is equipped to provide instruction, many have not been trained to provide the necessary support to facilitate behavior change in the school environment. Becoming an effective facilitator of behavior change in the classroom is a vital link to improving academic outcomes for students.
OSI empowers teachers, paraeducators and other school stakeholders through professional development, and Coaching and Modeling Expected Outcomes (C.A.M.E.O.). C.A.M.E.O. is a classroom behavioral-based approach that teaches by "hands on modeling" of appropriate behavioral strategies to assist students in making measurable progress toward their identified behavioral and academic goals.
